Basic Life Support (BLS)

Face-to-Face Course


Our Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides learners with the essential skills and confidence needed to respond effectively in life-threatening emergencies. This short, practical course is ideal for anyone who requires a solid understanding of CPR and emergency response, including those who are not designated First Aiders but still

wish to be prepared.


Training is delivered face-to-face by experienced instructors and includes hands-on practice with manikins and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), ensuring learners feel confident and capable in real-life situations.

  • Staff who require essential first aid knowledge without a full First Aid qualification

  • Individuals working in low-risk environments

  • Teachers, support staff, community workers, and volunteers

  • Anyone who wants to learn lifesaving skills for everyday situations

Course Content

Learners will cover the following key areas:

  • Understanding the role of a responder

  • Assessing an incident and conducting a primary survey

  • CPR for adults

  • Safe use of an AED

  • Managing an unresponsive casualty

  • Recovery position

  • Choking

  • Basic management of shock and Bleeding

Assessment & Certification


Learners are assessed through continuous observation and practical

demonstrations. Successful participants will receive a Basic Life Support certificate, valid for one year.
