Basic Life Support (BLS)
Face-to-Face Course
Our Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides learners with the essential skills and confidence needed to respond effectively in life-threatening emergencies. This short, practical course is ideal for anyone who requires a solid understanding of CPR and emergency response, including those who are not designated First Aiders but still
wish to be prepared.
Training is delivered face-to-face by experienced instructors and includes hands-on practice with manikins and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), ensuring learners feel confident and capable in real-life situations.

Course Content
Learners will cover the following key areas:
Understanding the role of a responder
Assessing an incident and conducting a primary survey
CPR for adults
Safe use of an AED
Managing an unresponsive casualty
Recovery position
Choking
Basic management of shock and Bleeding
Assessment & Certification
Learners are assessed through continuous observation and practical
demonstrations. Successful participants will receive a Basic Life Support certificate, valid for one year.
