  • Anaphylaxis Awareness and Autoinjector Training

    An essential course for anyone who has responsibility for the care of adults or children, who suffer from Anaphylaxis and are prescribed an Auto Injector manufactured by EpiPen or Jetx. One in three of the total UK population - around 18 million people -suffer from some form of allergy (Royal College of Physicians 2003) Anaphylaxis is a severe, life threatening, generalised or systemic hypersensitivity reaction. According to the Resuscitation Council UK, many patients with genuine anaphylactic reaction are not given the correct treatment.

  • Annual BLS Course for Primary Care

    This course has been created for clinical staff working in Primary Care settings including GPs, nurses and all healthcare professionals involved in clinical care.

  • Annual First Aid Update

    The HSE strongly recommends that first-aiders undertake annual refresher training, over half a day, during any three-year certification period.   • Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Training

    Automatic external defibrillation and CPR basic life support. This course is for those who need to learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator. This device can be used to administer measured electric shocks during CPR to people in cardiac arrest and is the best way of increasing the chance of survival. You will be trained to recognise a cardiac arrest and how to treat it.

    A brand new one day training course for babysitters. The course teaches first aid training, health and safety basics, fire safety, accident prevention and babysitting skills and also offers advice on manual handling methods. These essentials are designed to give the trainee confidence to cope with situations in someone else’s home and to be able to deal with wider babysitting issues

  • CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Safety

    A CIEH course designed for anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled. There will be a CIEH 30 question exam at the end of the course.

    A CIEH course designed for anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled. There will be a CIEH 30 question exam at the end of the course.

  • CIEH Introductory Certificate in Food Safety

    The CIEH Level 1 awards in food safety are run as half-day courses, suitable for a variety of candidates, including new employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge, employees handling low-risk or wrapped food or those who work front of house, such as waiting or check out staff, as well as back of house such as kitchen porters or warehouse staff. There will be a CIEH 15 question exam at the end of the course.

  • CIEH Level 2 Award Healthier Food and Special Diets

    The course is designed to give all individuals preparing food with all the information they need to prepare nutritious food. They will be able to develop both healthy recipes and cater to a variety of dietary requirements, therefore giving individuals the ability and confidence to respond to customer concerns and questions. There will be a CIEH 30 question exam at the end of the course.

  • CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work

    This course is suitable for individuals required by their employers to undertake responsibility for first aid arrangements in areas where there is not a requirement for a qualified first aider e.g. lower risk environments such as offices. There is a multiple choice test and practical assessment.

  • CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Allergen Awareness

    Under the Food Information Regulations 2014, food business operators have a legal responsibility to provide complete and correct food allergen information to customers. These regulations apply to all catering and retail businesses that serve or sell loose foods. This half day CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Allergen Awareness course has been designed to help food handlers to: • Understand the impact of food allergy and intolerance • Identify, manage and control the risks associated with food allergens • Apply the principles of practical allergen management to develop good practice in the workplace • Provide allergen information, with confidence.

  • CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling

This course is also the second day of the 12-hour Paediatric First Aid blended learning course. Which satisfies the requirement of Ofsted and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) .

  • Epilepsy Awareness including Rectal Diazepam

  • Health and Safety / Manual Handling in Childcare Settings

    A one day course comprising half day Health and Safety in the Childcare Settings and half day Manual Handling in Childcare Settings. You will learn the principles of lifting and transferring children, accident prevention and basic anatomy. This is vital information for new starters and more experienced workers alike that will help meet ‘Standard 6: Safety’ of the National Standards for under 8’s day care and childminding (Sure Start/Ofsted) and statutory health & safety training. The course will cover the obligations as required in the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992. This course meets the National Standard 6 and new NOS Unit CCLD202
