• FIRST AID:

1. Appointed Person - Individuals required by their employers to undertake responsibility for first aid arrangments where there is not a requirement for a qualified first aider; e.g. lower risk environments such as offices.

3. Paediatric First Aid - For those individuals involved in the care of babies and young children. This course satisfies the OFSTED requirement for a paediatric first aid course for child carers.
   
   
4. First Aid at Work Assessment - Assess a first aid at work exam.
   
   
5. Children and Babies First Aid - This course ensuress that you know how to deal with life-threatening conditions and covers basic life support techniques for infants.

• HEALTHY EATING

1. CIEH Level 2 Award Healthier Food and Special Diets - The course is designed to give all individuals preparing food with all the information they need to prepare nutritious food. They will be able to develop both healthy recipes and cater to a variety of dietary requirements, therefore giving individuals the ability and confidence to respond to customer concerns and questions.
   
   
2. Nutrition for Nursery Cooks - A course suitable for Nursery cooks and those responsible for the provision of children's meals and snacks within Early Years settings. The course comprises a series of study days looking at nutrition, healthy eating, food preparation, food and nutritional labelling and special dietary requirements.

• MANUAL HANDLING

1. Manual Handling - A course for individuals who work with children, introducing the principles of lifting and transferring children, accident prevention and basic anatomy.
   
   
2. Manual Handling of Goods - Suitable for any individuals whose work involves lifting or moving loads.
   
   
3. CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling.

• HEALTH AND SAFETY

1. IOSH Managing Safely - The 'Managing Safely' course is for those required to manage safely and effectively in compliance with both their organisation's policy and best practice in Health and Safety.
   
   
2. IOSH Working Safely - Working Safely is for people at any level, in any sector, needing a grounding in the essentials of health and safety.
   
   
3. CIEH Level 2 Award in the Principles of COSHH - CIEH Level 2 Award in the principles of COSHH.
   
   
4. CIEH Level 1 in Health and Safety in the Workplace - Health and Safety
   
   
5. Fire Marshall - The Fire Regulations and the Fire Precautions Act require all employers to carry out fire safety training for their staff' therefore this course is suitable for all employees.
   
   
6. Health and Safety / Manual Handling - A one day course comprising half day Health and Safety in the childcare setting and half day Manual Handling in the childcare setting. It looks at the ways in which childcare workers can promote the health and safety of everyone in childcare settings, including staff, children, parents and visitors.
